Rose of Jericho

Rose of Jericho (Selaginella lepidophylla, also called resurrection fern, is known for its ability to survive dessication. The Plant compactly curls into a ball shape upon dehydration, appearing dead. Once placed in water, it will uncurl back to life into A green bloom. Use the water in magical workings, place a Rose of Jericho in your home and/or business for prosperity and good fortune.

PRECAUTIONS:  Like all spike mosses, Selaginella lepidophylla may be toxic to cats, so it’s best to play it safe. Keep your Rose of Jericho out of reach, or choose a different plant.
 
Place the Fern partially submerged in a Shallow bowl of water in indirect light. Change the water Every 2-3 days while the plant adapts to the new environment. If the water becomes cloudy, clean the container, then thoroughly rinse the fern with cold water every 2-3 days. Eventually the plant will adapt and the water will not need to be changed as often.
