The Buckland Museum of Witchcraft and Magick and the Lake Witch have teamed up to highlight our vibrant local scene of artists and our magickal community in the museum's recently expanded gallery space.
Manifest: A Chakra Photo Series by L.A. Carr
In her show Manifest, L.A. sought to capture the feeling of each of the chakras in her signature monochromatic still life style, playing color, mood, and composition. Each element in the frame harkens to the feelings each chakra evokes, blending natural elements and found objects.
Cleveland based multidisciplinary creative, L.A. Carr, has been crafting her photography skill since 2010 and is an active commercial photographer and videographer specializing in lifestyle, branding, and unconventional fine art. Her buoyant and badass style is heavily influenced by analog film, 1970’s tonality, and still lifes. In her work, through texture, color, and light, she like to take simple subjects and marry them with an offbeat twist.
